Three women sitting outside on a blanket on the grass

Established in 2019, we have read dozens of books and hosted hundreds of readers at our Book Club meetings. Reading abortion stories and fostering a safe space to discuss these texts allows us to reduce abortion stigma and create a stronger community.

As a PAF Book Club member, you’ll receive a free copy of our selected text. We meet quarterly for virtual, guided discussions. The book’s author might even join the meeting to take part in our conversation.

The books we read span genres (memoir, fiction, graphic novels) and focus on themes related to abortion access and Reproductive Justice. These discussions are casual—no expertise on any subject is necessary—but be prepared to share your thoughts and gain new perspectives on topics such as economic justice, criminalization of pregnancy, abortion stories, midwifery, racial justice, provider-perspectives, and more.
